Lunch will generally be on the way.

If the river conditions are appropriate for navigation, at dusk we will go out by boat on the Tambopata River to enjoy the sounds of the jungle that invade the night. It is also possible to find caimans (crocodilus), and with a little luck to see ocelots (felis pardalis) and, if the sky is clear, you can see the stars. We will wake up early 4:30 AM to visit one of the largest macaw clay lick in the world (COLLPA CHUNCHO), located within the Tambopata National Reserve, to get to this place it will take us 1:30 hour approximately by boat. On the way we usually see capybaras (the largest rodent in the world), birds and hopefully the most beautiful feline in South America (jaguar).
Once at the clay lick you will be able to see several species of macaws and parrots (Ara, chloroptera, ararauna, macao, pionitesleucogaster), which come to eat the clay of the shore wall. Here we will get comfortable to enjoy the most beautiful natural spectacle of (birds), first very early come down the parrots then the macaws of various species; They gather to eat clay necessary in their diet, a good day you could see hundreds of parrots and macaws flying over the treetops.
Breakfast at the observation site, all boat tours will be in search of the jaguar (Panthera onca), which usually shows up on the banks of the river.
Between the months of May and September, the flow of the Tambopata River is reduced and what are known as seasonal beaches are formed. The river becomes slow and shallow on the banks, inviting us to lie down and enjoy the sun and take a refreshing swim. We can also play in the sand and take mud baths.
