Reception at the airport in Puerto Maldonado, transfer to the office to register and provide some flight information, requirements, repacking to take only what is necessary for your stay and you can leave the rest of your luggage in our office. To start with the transfer you will have to wait for the arrival of all the passengers, once they have all arrived, we will begin with the journey.
This adventure begins by embarking with all the necessary logistics for the days you have planned to stay. For which we will have a well-equipped boat (motor boat) and qualified local personnel such as cook, motorist and guide.
The starting point of this adventure will be Puerto Maldonado, to enter and know the beauty that hides las piedras river, this is a narrow river, with sticks, rocks, beaches and sandy shores is narrow and shallow in the dry season, which allows you to navigate very close to both banks and thus be able to better appreciate. at the beginning you will see their local populations and their activities.
Going a little further in, you will be able to see the native communities of the Amazon, landscapes and forests protected as private and national reserves. The further you go into the river, the less human activity you will see, but you will be able to see other native communities, this is how this river enters and gets lost between national parks.
Activities that can be performed are visits to local and native communities (experiential tourism), social work, camping on the banks of the river, campfire, swimming in its waters, fishing, search for alligators, visit the clay licks of macaws and parrots: botanical hikes, search for mammals, night hikes, search for amphibians, search for reptiles, search for birds.
We will be surrounded by many species of medicinal plants of ancestral use with mystical properties, giant trees and many of them in danger of extinction.
In these walks, with a little luck and good ecotourism practices and respect for the natural environment you will find a diversity of wildlife such as colorful birds, reptiles, amphibians and mammals such as the curious monkeys, in this place the chances of seeing the spider monkey (Ateles belzebuth) are very high, a species that has been extinct in many places but can still be seen there.
