DAY 1: Introductory hike, nocturnal wildlife viewing, Overnight in camp.
Reception at the airport in Puerto Maldonado, transfer to the office to register and provide some flight information, requirements, repack to take only what is necessary for your stay and you can leave the rest of your luggage in our office. to start with the transfer will have to wait for the arrival of all passengers, once everyone has arrived, we will begin with the journey by car on track and trail for 1:30 hours average and then 30 minutes by boat to reach the camp center. Lunch will generally be on the way.
Once installed in the place, if we arrive on time, we will make the introductory walk, along this route we will identify with the guide different plants of traditional medicinal use, as well as plants for decorative and ritual use. In the evening before dinner we will take a short walk in the dark forest only illuminated by lanterns, which will look like small fireflies glowing in the vastness of the forest.
The day will end with a delicious dinner.
DAY 2: macaw clay lick (chuncho), walk in search of wildlife, search for caimans by boat - Overnight in camp
We will wake up early 4:30 AM to visit one of the largest macaw clay lick in the world (COLLPA CHUNCHO), located within the Tambopata National Reserve, to get to this place it will take us 1:30 hour approximately by boat. On the way we usually see capybaras (Hydrochaeris Hydrochaeris) the largest rodent in the world, birds and hopefully the most beautiful feline in South America the jaguar (Panthera onca).
Once at the clay lick you will be able to see several species of macaws and parrots (Ara macao, Ara Ararauna, Ara Chloroptera, Amazona farinosa, Pionus menstruus, etc) that come to eat the clay of the shore wall. Here we will get comfortable to enjoy the most beautiful natural spectacle of (birds), first very early the parrots come down then the macaws of various species; They gather to eat clay necessary in their diet, a good day you could see hundreds of parrots and macaws flying over the treetops.

In the afternoon walk into primary forest in search of wildlife, with a little luck you may see groups of monkeys (Cebus apela, Callicebusmoloch, Saimiri sciureus) and birds (Cacicus cela, Tanagers, Psarocolius, Momotusmomota or the impressive harpy eagle (harpia harpyja) etc.).
If the river conditions are suitable for sailing, at dusk we will go out by boat on the Tambopata River to enjoy the sounds of the jungle that invade the night. It is also possible to find caimans (Caiman crocodilus) and, if the sky is clear, you will be able to see the stars. The day will end with a delicious dinner.
Day 3: Kayak tour, afternoon fishing - Overnight in camp
In the morning we will go upriver to go down the river with the kayaks floating down the river and enjoy the scenery and tranquility that this natural space transmits. And if you have time, you can take a refreshing dip in its waters.
In the afternoon we will go fishing in the banks of the Tambopata River and hopefully catch one of the many species of fish that has the Peruvian Amazon as catfish (catfish) etc. and also enjoy the sunset.
Day 4: Breakfast, transfer to the airport.
